Your personal data
By registering for this summit, you (the participant) agrees that your personal data will be processed for registration and handling purposes, as well as to send you information in connection with the conference. All (personal) data will only be used in accordance with current EU data protection legislation(GDPR) and will not be disclosed to a third party without the participants explicit permission. If you do not submit the data indicated as “required” we cannot complete your registration. 

AI Summit Brainport processes your (personal) data by you providing this data to us by completing the registration form. Below you will find an overview of the personal data that we process: 

- First and last name
- Title
- Email address

Why do we process your personal data?
We ask for your (personal) data to facilitate registration, participation and to inform you by email if this is necessary to be able to perform our services.

For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data.
Personal data is processed on the basis for agreement and the basis for consent. 

We process your personal data for the following purposes: We use the information that you enter on the registration page of the summit to realize the preparation, execution and handling of the activity as good as possible and tailored to your personal needs. Your name (first and last name), affiliation and any specified program items where you signed up for will be mentioned on your badge. 

How long will we store your personal data?
AI Summit Brainport does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the goals (preparation, implementation and treatment tailored to your personal needs) for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods: 

  • According to the law, financial document and underlying documents must be kept as burden of proof for 7 years. 
  • All other data will be stored up to 2 years after the conference.
